02setup steps

Four steps from invite to live

  1. 01

    Select Your Platform

Choose whether your community is on Discord or Telegram

    • 01Discord servers use OAuth authorization for bot invites
    • 02Telegram groups require manual bot addition with admin permissions
    • 03Each platform has specific setup requirements
  2. 02

    Choose Your Bot Type

Select between free or premium bot with custom branding

    • 01Free Bot: Use Flake Bot with all core features at no cost
    • 02Premium Bot: Get custom branding (name, avatar) with the same features
    • 03Custom bots require bot tokens from Discord/Telegram
  3. 03

    Add Bot to Your Server

    • 01Click the platform-specific invite link
    • 02Grant Administrator permissions for full functionality

  4. 04

05activation

The activation command

After the bot is in the server, run the activation command in a channel it can read. You’ll get a confirmation and the server appears in your dashboard.

discord
/activate a53dbd92-141e-4c1c-9256-66a679234a51

Send in any channel where the bot can read messages.

telegram
/activate a53dbd92-141e-4c1c-9256-66a679234a51

Send in the group chat the bot was added to.

notes

  • 01The bot must have administrator permissions before activation.
  • 02You’ll receive a confirmation message when activation succeeds.
  • 03The server appears in the Flake dashboard immediately after.
  • 04Activation codes are single-use, generated per server.

real codes

The example above is a placeholder.

Your real activation code is generated in the Infrastructure page when you add a server. Don’t copy this one; it won’t work.
